The vessel is purpose built for a long term contract and will be delivered in Q3 2022, from Marsun Shipyard in Thailand. When delivered the vessel will be working in Taiwan, through our local JV company UMO Marine Offshore.

The vessel design is prepared for hybrid propulsion, but is simpler in many ways, compared to the generation before. This will ensure higher uptime with the same high performance and workability. Three main engines with direct drivelines to three waterjets, one in each hull, ensure high speed, high bollard push and high maneuverability.

We are confident that the vessel will be a highly valuable asset to the project teams, who will be working with her, for many years.

The first two vessels are built for long-term contract in the UK and will be delivered from Umoe Mandal Shipyard in Norway, Q2 2023.

The high performance and ultra-high speed will ensure safe transit of 24 passenger, with up to 50+ knots. Even when the weather is rough, the vessel is built to perform and will achieve transit speeds of 32-38 in 1.5mHs.

We cannot disclose what the name will be, but we can ensure that it will come in familiar WMO orange colors.

The vessel design is a proven concept within support vessels for offshore industry and is 3rd generation of the design.

• PM5 is a combination of the best performances from a trimaran, catamaran and a mono hull
• A Hydrofoil of 15 sq. m horisontal firm plate is mounted at the bottom of the centre hull, which reduces the heave movements

The hull shape combined with the high speed and seaworthiness performed by the Trimaran hull concept and the Swath technology (Small water plane twin hull) provide excellent seaworthiness and fuel economy when the vessel is in transit speed as a Trimaran.
